There comes a point in everyoneRocket LeagueGaming career when you realize these hilarious and awesome hacks are no fluke. The higher you climb the ranks, the more players land the most amazing shots. You'll also find that these players are doing it on purpose, so the question is HOW do they learn to do these amazing things?
If you're at least on PC, you're probably using Bakkesmod, which is a great community-made training tool, and if you want a slice of the action, you've come to the right place! In this Rocket League Bakkesmod guide, I'll explain everything you'd want to know about Bakkesmod, from how to install it to all the weird and wonderful things you can do with it.
Bakkesmod has some awesome built-in features, but there are many other amazing ones too.PluginsYou can use it to make it even better! I'll also give an overview of how to use them. I will also dispel some myths about using Bakkesmod. When you're ready to make antennas like a pro, let's get started!
Bottom row in front

Bakkesmod is an incredibly powerful training aid for Rocket League and you will see your gameplay improvements when using it. As far as Psyonix (the developers) are concerned, you can use Bakkesmod without fear of bans.
Nothing teaches Rocket League better than actual gameplay, but Bakkesmod gives you access to lots of great practice tools to improve every facet of your game. If you play on PC, you owe it to yourself to give it a try.
What is Bakkesmod?
Bakkesmod is a mod tool that you can run alongside Rocket League that grants you access to some awesome features not found in the game by default. Most of these features come in the form of training aids, which are so extensive that they are currently used by over 20% of the PC gamer base. Bakkesmod offers no real game benefits and most of its features are limited to training modes.
Is Bakkesmod safe?
The most frequently asked questions about Bakkesmod are related to how safe it is to use. Traditionally, mod tools for other games can get you into trouble if the developers aren't fans of them. If caught using it, your account could be banned or worse, permanently banned!
luckily that's itIt's not the casewith Bakkesmod and Rocket League. This topic is rarely brought up on the Rocket League subreddit and was brought up by one of the Psyonix employees a few months ago.

Unless there is a dramatic change in Psyonix policy or how Bakkesmod works, things will likely remain the same.
When it comes to modding, it's always best to be cautious. Just because Psyonix is happy for you to use Bakkesmod doesn't mean it won't conflict with other anti-cheat providers (e.g. Battle-Eye or Ricochet) in the future.
In the realm of PC gaming, you never have to dig too far to uncover horror stories about false flags and false positive bans. There is rarely concrete evidence of what triggers this, as it usually contains a vague statement as to why a ban was imposed. I'm not saying this to scare you, but just in case, I recommend closing Bakkesmod when you're not playing Rocket League.
Instalar o Bakkesmod

Fortunately, installing Bakkesmod is easy! First, visit the official websitehttps://bakkesmod.com/🇧🇷 Click the big button to download the file and unzip it to a folder of your choice. Then install the program wherever you want. I like having an icon on my desktop for ease of use.

When you run the program for the first time, it will update automatically. The only thing I would recommend is this setup (pictured above). This is a personal preference, but I always like to have as few programs running at startup as possible.
How to use Bakkesmod

Okay, now I've convinced you that Bakkesmod is the best thing since sliced bread; Let's see how to use it! Make sure Rocket League is running, then launch Bakkesmod. If you're playing Rocket League, press F2 on your keyboard to open Bakkesmod, and it's that simple!
It appears as an overlay over the game and you can open and close it at any time by pressing F2. You can also change this more conveniently from the Bindings menu. There's so much you can do with Bakkesmod, so let me show you some of the best and most powerful tools you have access to right now!
Quick settings modes.

Air Dribbling, Normal, and Wallhit modes change what happens when you press directions on your D-Pad. If you're on the keyboard, they're bound to the number keys. These modes work in free play and throw the ball towards you or away from you from different angles.
It may not seem like much, but they are perfect for warming up and practicing ball control. Since the ball pops up instantly, you have to be a lot more reactive than setting up these scenarios manually. You can even use these settings when you're already up against a wall to improve your aerial game. Each mode does something different, and I recommend trying them all out to get a feel for them.
Spice up your personalized training routines

Custom training drills are a fantastic tool that comes pre-made in Rocket League, but once you get used to them, you actually learn how to beat drills rather than refining techniques. This is where variance options come into play. These settings change the angle and direction the ball hits you in these modes, but keep the same objectives.
The higher the variance, the more dramatic the effect. It keeps the exercises up to date, but more importantly, it saves you from simply memorizing the routines so you always have something of them. Variance changes only work in custom training. Therefore, if you try to use them in Air Dribble mode, for example in Freeplay, nothing will happen.
Build the car of your dreams!
We all know how important your Drip is in Rocket League, and the Items menu lets you customize your car in every way imaginable!
The problem is that these customizations are only visible to you. For everyone else, your vehicle will match the game pieces you selected. All options on this tab are disabled by default, so check the box at the top of the list to enable them.

After that, you can literally take any cosmetic item released in every year that Rocket League has existed and put it in your car. You can save your best creations as presets, and if dressing up your vehicle is important to you, be prepared to spend a lot of time here!
Bend gravity and time to your will

At first glance, the current game tab might seem pretty pointless, but it has its uses and can be used in any training mode. You can manipulate gravity with these settings to force some pretty unique situations, but it's the ability to slow down time that will help you the most.
Learning complicated techniques like the aerial dribble is difficult when you're a new player. In these cases, decreasing the time is helpful. You can choose exactly what speed you want to play at, and believe me, if you can execute a technique in slow motion, eventually you'll be able to execute it at full speed. This helped me a lot in learning antennas and revealed a number of accuracy issues that I can now work on.
Train your shooting accuracy
As I said before, training exercises are great, but they have limitations. When you're kicking in a real game, you're not just trying to get the ball in the goal; You also try to avoid your opponents. “Goal Blocker” can help with that. You can find this option under Personalized Training.

When this setting is on, you can draw a shape on the displayed rectangle. This rectangle represents the target and, as you can see in the picture, the square I drew is the only part of the target that is not covered. This tool is fantastic and works great with the target practice already available.
Know your opponent
This is less of a training aid and more of a nice thing to know, but you can make Rocket League show MMR (Matchmaking Rating).
You can enable this from the Leaderboard tab. This is a great feature, but if yours is smaller than expected, don't get hung up on it. As you get better (and as you take the time to practice with Bakkesmod, you'll get better quickly!), eventually it will increase.
One feature that is really useful on the Leaderboard tab is enabling Viewpoint Goal Replays. Every time a goal is scored in Rocket League, the game shows it from a cinematic angle, and it can be a little difficult to see exactly what the scorer has done.
Enabling this feature will show you how the goal was scored from your perspective. It's much easier to see all the little moves a player is making from this angle, and you can try incorporating their techniques into yours.
Do you want to stay anonymous?

If you want to hide your identity online, Bakkesmod has its own tab under "Anonymizer". This has limited uses, but it can be a useful tool to counteract stream sniping if you're a streamer or content creator.
The wonderful world of Rocket League plugins
There are enough games on Bakkesmod to keep any gamer busy for a long time. Still, there's always more to delve into Rocket League, and Bakkesmod allows for a truckload of more options, modes, and quality-of-life changes via "plugins."

As of this writing, there are HUNDREDS of plugins available for download. Bakkesmod also comes with some pre-installed (pictured above). I'm going to review some of the best pre-installed ones here so you know how to use them. In the next section, I'll explain how to download new ones and show you some of the best ones.
Defender-Plugin
Tired of playing Defend all games? Well, since you're there, you might as well come in handy!
The Defender plugin works in Free Practice mode and is a great way to brush up on good old defense skills. When this plug-in is activated, the ball will be repeatedly hit directly into the goal by an invisible force.
The plugin is not limited to the same shot every time and does a decent job of training a young goalkeeper. It's certainly not perfect, as much of the defense reacts to where your opponents are. If you've taken some clunky shots, I hope this helps smooth it out with your team.
recovery plugin
If everything fits together during training, but falls apart when maneuvering other cars, this plugin can help.
The Recovery plug-in periodically bumps your car in a random direction to simulate a collision. Similar to the Defender plugin, it's not perfect in that you can't react to what you find, but it does teach you quick repositioning. If you want to give this plugin a try, I recommend increasing the cooldown timer, as by default it will affect you too often to be useful.
How to install new plugins

Bakkesmod has a feature that takes you straight to Bakkesplugins.com and installing plugins from there couldn't be easier. Just go to the Plugins tab in Bakkesmod and click the "Open Plugin Manager" button and then click "Install from Bakkesplugins". This opens the Bakkesplugins website.

On the website, select a plugin you want to download and click the download icon. Click "Install with Bakkesmod" and it should download. If asked to allow a link in your web browser, confirming the prompt will allow Bakkesmod to download the file directly. When you're done, Viola! Your plugin will be in the same list as the pre-installed ones.
As I mentioned earlier, there are a lot of plugins here. Feel free to explore the site, but if you want some recommendations, here are some awesome plugins to try.
Dribbling Coach

Out of everything Bakkesmod can do, this is the plugin I come back to the most. Dribble Trainer is used to improve your aerial dribbling game. When activated, the ball will appear on the roof of your car and every time the ball hits the ground; he reappears above you.
It's a simple plugin, but it doesn't have to be over complicated. Dribble Trainer also draws a cross under your car and ball, making them easy to line up. Air dribbling is a skill that takes weeks, even months to master, and if you're just starting out, you can use this time slowdown plugin for an amazing personalized training tool.
Hitbox-Viewer

Most players know that Rocket League cars have different hitboxes, but how different are they really? There are so many misunderstandings and inaccuracies about this subject. Fortunately, you don't have to worry about this, as there is a plugin that shows your car's hitbox.
This plugin works in any training mode and needs to be activated in the Bakkesmod console (accessed with F6). The command you need to type is "cl_socar_showhitbox 1" to turn it on. Change the 1 to a 0 to turn it off.
This plug-in is awesome and helps explain why the ball isn't bouncing off your wedge-shaped car like you'd expect. There are some cars where the hitbox doesn't fully match their models either. So if you're 100% sure you should have made that shot last game, you might be right! Try this plugin and see for yourself; Playing with the hitboxes on display for the first time is a real eye-opener.
Boost Whiff training
Since we just looked at car hitboxes, did you know that boost pads have a much larger hitbox than they look? The Boost Whiff Training plugin displays the hitboxes in question, and as you can see, they are much wider than the pads themselves. Their hitbox extends vertically so you can still fire them with a low jump.

This won't be a plugin you'll use every day, but it's good to learn how far you can go from a boost pad to activate it.
RocketStats
Earlier I said that you shouldn't get hung up on your MMR, but if you're the competitive type and want to keep track of your MMR and win/loss ratios, RocketStats is the plugin you need!
RocketStats is one of those rare plugins that you can use during real games and it shows a lot of useful stats in a small bar that you can move around whenever you want. RocketStats shows your MMR, but also the MMR of everyone else in the lobby. After the game, it shows how much MMR each player has gained and lost, and can also track their wins and losses during a session. If you're wondering why there are no pictures, I'm on a legendary losing streak right now; no one needs to see this.
In the future, RocketStats will allow you to download themes to showcase your stats with a more personal touch. If you've been streaming Rocket League, this could be an update to keep an eye on!
Instant Suite
If you're looking to sit down to an intense Rocket League night session, the Instant Suite is a plugin that will help ensure you get as many games as possible. Once the Instant Suite is active, it will immediately re-queue for a game once the current game ends in the playlist you are on.
In fact, the Instant Suite starts queuing BEFORE the item, and the EXP windows disappear from the screen after the game, so you'll always have minimal downtime. You can also configure Instant Suite to switch to Free Practice mode between games.
To be honest, Rocket League has pretty streamlined menus without the need for plugins, so think of the Instant Suite more as a nice quality-of-life improvement. Make sure you turn it off in time if you need to go to the bathroom too!
Predictdator (Ballvorhersage)

This awesome plug-in predicts the trajectory of the ball when it hits and displays its path as a glowing line across the field. This is another tool that helps in learning ball control and aerial dribbling.
The Predictdator makes you feel like a Rocket League scientist, but it has limited uses beyond making you look exceptionally flashy. However, if you're just starting out and want to learn how the ball interacts with its environment, it's worth playing around with.
Workshop Map Loader and Downloader
Finally, I want to leave one last plugin that can be used for training and to bring content to Rocket League that you couldn't have imagined in your wildest dreams!
Workshop Map Loader & Downloader can turn Rocket League into a platform for amazing custom content like new stadiums and courses. Much of the content you can download here requires you to set up new folders and download additional items like texture packs. There's a lot behind it, and some of the content you can find with this plugin is a bit experimental. Regardless, there are loads of awesome maps to browse, and if you want to get everything set up, there's a handy tutorial for you.página Bakkesplugins

common questions
Question: Is there anything else I can use to improve my game outside of Bakkesmod?
Answer: Arguably the best tool to improve in Rocket League is built into the game from the start, 1V1s. I know some people don't like 1v1, but nothing reveals weaknesses in your gameplay like being forced to play without a team to back you up. You'll learn how to kick, defend, when to push, and the importance of not pushing yourself too hard when all you can do is rely on yourself.
Question: How much does Bakkesmod cost?
Answer: Bakkesmod is completely free and if you try to download it from a website that says otherwise, close that page immediately. You can donate through PayPal, and there's a Patreon on the official website, but those are the only ways money is supposed to change hands.
Question: I get the following message in Bakkesmod: "The mod is out of date, awaiting an update". How can I solve the problem?
Answer: If you receive this error message, it usually means that Rocket League has received an update and Bakkesmod does not support it. In this case, it's a waiting game. It could also mean that your Rocket League needs an update, as the error message doesn't distinguish which program is out of date.
You can sometimes force an update by navigating to the menu shown above, but you'll likely only need to do that if Rocket League has recently been updated. When none of the above methods work, several users have reported that Bakkesmod will be completely deleted and reinstalled to fix the issues.
Question: Is using Bakkesmod cheating?
Answer: No, it is not. Most of Bakkesmod's improvements are limited to training modes and it's impossible to apply them to online matches. The only exceptions are stat trackers and things like Instant Suite which look for matches quickly. None of them grant any benefits. Bakkesmod is best thought of as an FPS targeting trainer, but on wheels!
